Legal aspects of disposition of Church real estate in the Slovak Republic

Abstract

The paper deals with the legal regulation and practice of handling church real estate in the conditions of the Slovak Republic. It examines the conditions under which, from the perspective of canon law of the Roman Catholic Church, it is possible to deal with real estate forming part of church property and analyses the competencies and responsibilities in this area, focusing on the specific legal requirements and principles. The aim of the paper is to provide an analytical perspective on legal obligations and practical challenges in dealing with church real estate in the context of applying canon law within the Slovak legal environment.
