About the Journal

The journal Historia et theoria iuris has been published since 2009. It was established alongside the then Department of Legal History at the Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law, which now operates under the name Department of Legal History and Comparative Law. The basic framework of the journal’s operation is defined by its statute and a code of ethics. The journal is managed by its editorial team, headed by the editor-in-chief, and its general direction is determined by the editorial board.

The journal Historia et theoria iuris is published by Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Law.

The journal is published twice a year and accepts contributions in the fields of legal history, legal theory, and related disciplines within the social sciences.
