Abstract

Expulsions, repatriations and displacement of ethnic, racial or religious reasons were affected tens of millions people around the world. Especially in ethnically diverse Europe where has been a constant colonization and resettlement of minority sections of the population. Movements of people of different nationalities, touched almost every country where ethnic minorities lived. Of course, the greatest impact on expulsion, repatriation or removals should be especially war events and their final results. Usually it was a political decision, such as regulation of the displaced persons of German nationality adopted at a conference in Potsdam. Hovewer the resulting protocol is strictly required the completion of each resettlement humanely. Types of displacement was in each case differed. Usually there was a distinction between the civilian population and the minority political or ideological structures. Direct implications for the displaced were largely the same, hit by loss of residence, and sometimes all real property. Expulsions and exchanges particularly in the postwar period became legal a legal instrument aimed at preventing or ending conflict countries with minority populations.
