Labour law legislation of the first Czechoslovak Republic in the years 1918 – 1938
Abstract
The character of a state is imported to it´´ s positive law, which interferes to the individual and collective legal relationships of the subjects under it´´ s jurisdiction. The development of the labour law legislation of the first Czechoslovak Republic, especially during the period after it´´ s formation, proves serious effort to better the status of the workers, and we can allege, that first time in history the motive of the legislation was to protect the work from the capital, not the capital from the work. However, the Czechoslovak Republic could not avoid the fate of middle Europa.
